Searching for Truth - What Life is All About

Many of us are searching for truth. At some point or another we all search for truth. I believe we will find it. I know that there is a God. I know that he is perfect in every way. Every wonder we see comes from him. He has a plan for all of us. I learned these truths and many more from modern day living prophets. As miraculous as it sounds there are modern prophets. I have learned that we are all Gods Children and that we are created in his image which is in the image of a perfect immortalized man. I have also learned that Jesus Christ is in this same image as well as the Holy Ghost. What a marvelous, even incredible thought to the human mind. So many having been grasping for an understanding of what God is. So many have tried to come to him and be close to him. They can. We can draw close to a being who shares the same image we have. The bible says that man was created in the image of God. The modern prophets of the Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter-Day Saints teach these grand truths and clarify them. Joseph Smith, who many wonder at, and others speak ill of, was the first prophet in these modern days. God chose him as a young, pure boy to do His will on the earth and reestablish His church on the earth. How marvelous, how utterly incredible. The greatest part about it is that we can know these things are true from our own prayers to him as well as our seeking it out by our actions (ie scripture study, pondering on scriptural application, obeying divine commandments, etc). He will answer the honest seeker. He has answered me as I have felt the fruits or the feelings of the Holy Spirit as I have prayed over these things myself.
